What is IDS?
IDS is a scalable, organisation-wide information system that takes advantage of your CAT-5 Ethernet network to feed displays and other attached network devices. It’s a dynamic, resilient system that provides the ideal solution for today’s installations. Large flat-panel displays replace multiple screens and can show video streams, URL’s, multiple clocks, indicator lamps, alarms, status alerts, RSS feeds and much, much more.

IDS Software
Using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface you can design the individual components of your screen layout to present information the way you want it, then apply the logic required to drive the display. IDS Software lets you design, configure and deliver your information to a display device located anywhere on your Ethernet network.

IDS devices
IDS gives you freedom to create customised display systems to suit your every need. A basic IDS system might comprise an IDS SQuid for GPIO, NTP and system management and an IDS Remora for driving a single display.
However, it is more likely your IDS system will comprise several displays located throughout your building, requiring multiple IDS SQuids for system expansion, redundancy and management and IDS Remoras for driving the displays, all connected to your Ethernet backbone.
